Dr. Masood Tayebi- CEO
Dr. Masood Tayebi has been involved in founding, financing, and managing numerous companies. He founded, built, and managed WFI, the leading global services firm to the wireless industry. WFI employed 2,700 and had operations in over 60 countries. In 2000, at the peak of the telecom boom, WFI had a market capitalization of over $7.0 billion.
Dr. Masood Tayebi is also a partner in BridgeWest, LLC, a San Diego based investment firm that is active in venture capital and real estate investments. BridgeWest, LLC has invested in twelve start-up companies, including LogicTree and QThink. Dr. Masood Tayebi is a direct investor with sizable holdings in nine venture firms, including Oak Investment Partners and Credit Suisse’s venture fund.
Dr. Masood Tayebi received his Ph.D. in mobile radio propagation from the University of Liverpool, his M.S. in electronics engineering from the University of Southampton.
Dr. Massih Tayebi- Chairman
Dr. Massih Tayebi was also co-founder and Chairman of Wireless Facilities, Inc. (NASDAQ:WFII), a global leader in telecommunications outsourcing. In 2000, Dr. Massih Tayebi, along with his brother Dr. Masood Tayebi, was awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in San Diego.
Today, Dr. Massih Tayebi is the co-founder, Chairman and CEO of BridgeWest, LLC, an investment firm specializing in the development of emerging technology companies, primarily in the telecommunications industry in North America. He is also the co-founder and former Chairman of several businesses, including Business Corporation International (BCI), Qthink, MIR3 and Wireless Facilities Inc. (WFI).
He earned his M.S. in Computer Integrated Manufacturing and his Ph.D. in the Integration of Design and Process Planning at the University of Strathclyde.
Ted Eldredge- Principal
Ted Eldredge has over 25 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate and development. He worked as a commercial Real Estate Broker for CBRE (formally CB Commercial) for 9 years and as an R&D and Industrial leasing and sales agent in the San Diego Market. He then moved onto Manchester Financial Group where he was the President, and built and financed The Manchester Grand Hyatt (1625 room Convention Center Hotel) and the Grand Del Mar Resort during his 10 years at Manchester. Ted also acquired, managed, and sold over 350,000 sq. ft. of office and lab space in the Torrey Pines and Central San Diego markets. He is a licensed Broker in the State of California.
Gary L. Chronister- Co-President of Alliance Realty Capital Division
Mr. Chronister has been a real estate senior executive for over 35 years. Mr. Chronister has developed in excess of $7.0 billion of vertical and horizontal construction throughout his career. Mr. Chronister is considered an expert in real estate budgeting, asset management, development, construction and was an instructor at the University of California, Irvine, teaching asset management, project planning, entitlements, financing, and real estate development. Mr. Chronister also served as the President of private and publicly traded homebuilding companies. Mr. Chronister has entitled, engineered and executed the development of $3.5 billion of commercial land, major road, bridge and freeway construction, landscaping and habitat mitigation, drainage and utility facilities in addition to major infrastructure projects. Mr. Chronister has constructed 63 residential, multi-family, and commercial projects and managed the development of raw land to construction of over 7,000 residential, urban and multi-family units in multiple states.
Tom Giffin- Co-President of Alliance Realty Capital Division
Prior to joining the Alliance team, Mr. Thomas D. Giffin was one of seventeen persons nationwide to perform the functions of a Receiver in Charge with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. The Receiver in Charge operates as the Chief Executive Officer of the failed institution, assumes control of the assets and liabilities of the failed institution, and is conferred expansive powers by U.S. Congress (e.g. bankruptcy judge/trustee) to efficiently liquidate assets and pay claims. As a Receiver in Charge, Mr. Giffin has managed in excess of $9.5 billion in total assets stemming from 12 failed FDIC insured financial institutions with assets ranging from $200 million to $2.1 billion.
During Mr. Giffin’s career in the private sector, he managed over $2.5 billion in real estate investments, acquired over $500 million in assets, sourced over $600 million in financing, and sold over $500 million in property. As a certified public accountant and chief financial officer, he has had full profit and loss responsibility with direct oversight of all acquisition/disposition, finance/accounting, legal, marketing, and operating activities for mid-sized real estate firms with both residential and commercial property portfolios. Additionally, Mr. Giffin specialized in the acquisition and resolution of non-performing loans and property during the economic downturn in the 1990’s. Most notably, he was a Senior Manager at Ocwen Financial Corporation, the largest buyer of non-performing loans and REO in the United States from 1995 to 1997, and headed the Commercial Asset Management Services Division, which received the highest Special Servicer ranking from Standard and Poor and Fitch and provided services to several firms, including Credit Suisse First Boston and Bankers Trust.
Paul J. Kneisel- Controller
Paul J. Kneisel, MSBA, CPM®, ARM®, CCIM Candidate, is a licensed California Real Estate Broker who holds a Masters’ degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Finance, earned at SDSU with highest honors. Prior to joining American Rental Property Solutions, Paul spent six years as the Controller and a Regional Manager for Griswold Real Estate Management, Inc. He has volunteered as REstart’s Finance Chair since 2009 and served on the San Diego IREM Chapter # 18 Income & Expense Committee Chair in 2011 and 2012. Through Mr. Kneisel’s leadership and involvement at American Rental Property Solutions, he brought together a very reputable accounting and finance team to provide best-in-class financial reporting and analysis.
